Students Involved In Bullying And Victims Were Equally Stressed

Study shows that both victims of bully and children’s involved in bullying are equally stressed. Researchers from University of Washington reported in the Journal Archives of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine that psychologically both the group of children’s was stressed.

The study was conducted in 3,350 students studying in three, four and five students and grouped them in to 4 groups consist of victims of bullying, bullies, both victims and bullied other children and bystanders.

Study results showed that more than 737 students in the study group were involved or victim or both of bullying, 201 students were always bullied, 469 students were involved in bullying other students and 67 students were involved in bullying and victims of bullying.

The study author said, “The prevalence of frequent bullying among elementary school children is substantial. Associations between bullying involvement and school problems indicate this is a serious issue for elementary schools."
