Madhya Pradesh Cops to attend Yoga classes to reduce stress and weight

Madhya Pradesh Police will have to reduce their weight and stress by undergoing Yoga following survey reports showing that most of the police personnel’s in a district in Madhya Pradesh were too much obese and had stress at work.

Highly feared bandit gang operate in parts of Madhya Pradesh mainly in the districts of Shivpuri which forms part of the Chambal ravines in northern and central India. These Indian regions are badly terrorized by bandit gangs such as Gadariya brothers Dayaram and Rambabu who even have cash reward of 1.5 million rupees. The survey results show that over 50 percent of police personnel in Shivpuri district were flabby, physically unfit and not able to perform duties properly.

Yashodhara Raje Scindia, the district legislator, has requested state police chief Swaraj Puri to start yoga classes for the policemen as already yoga as been made compulsory to school childrens. He said yoga classes to the cops would reduce their stress and can maintain them fit.

Inspector General of Police Sanjay Rana said that Yoga classes would certainly help the cops keep fit and fitness can help them keep free from stress and manage their problems in a better way.
