Futuristic devices are here to take care of dental problems

In the Chicago Dental Society's 140th Midwinter Meeting that begins in US today, it is expected that dentists from the world over can take a peek to some very innovative and original dental care devices that will be on display there. The convention is also one of the largest exhibitions of oral care products in North America.

The showcase of products from 46 countries will include flavored toothpastes, toothbrushes that automatically dispenses toothpaste, and a complete dental office with total automation that will take patient history, diagnose oral problems and provide the latest technological tools to guide the dentist in his treatment.

A showcase of latest innovations in the world of oral care, the convention is expected to provide the dentists means to diagnose dental problems at very early stages, that will go a long way in preventing dental problems in children. It is possible today for the dentists to early diagnosis by using cultures and fluorescent lights. They also have options of using materials that rebuild damaged teeth, mouth rinses that kill bacteria and drill that use air and water to remove decay in tooth.
