‘Bizarre Behavior’ Blamed to Parents by Britney
Britney Spears has blamed her parents for her 'out-of-control' behavior that led to her stint in a rehab.

Jamie Spears, Britney's father, confirmed that his daughter is blaming her parents for 'where she is at today with her kids and career', and that she 'was out of control' when her bizarre behavior landed her in the Malibu-based Promises treatment facility.

In a statement to Page Six Friday, Jamie sided with Britney's manager Larry Rudolph, whom a furious Britney fired last Friday for forcing her into the rehab clinic in February following her month-long antics in public, including her constant partying, being photographed in her underwear with New York dancers and shaving her head.

As Jamie Spears stated: 'When Larry Rudolph talked Britney into going into rehab, he was doing what her mother, father and team of professionals with over 100 years of experience knew needed to be done. She was out of control. Larry was the one chosen by the team to roll up his sleeves and deliver the message, to help save her life.

'The Spears family would like to publicly apologize to Larry for our daughter's statements about him over the past few weeks. Unfortunately, she blames him and her family for where she is at today with her kids and career. Larry has always been there for Britney. For this, we will forever be grateful to him.'

Britney made the counterclaim through her representative that her father doesn't 'know how to accept a real woman's love

Britney, is responsible for her own behavior. She fired what seems to be a good & caring family friend? She needs to grow up & think of her "children" and stop the prancing around... She is a very poor role model...

I hope no one buys her new album when it comes out. She is acting like a spoiled brat and doesn't deserve all the attention

I think Britney is doing what most people do after being divorced. Making up for "lost" teen years. I know after I divorced ( at the tender of 21) with 2 kids. I went crazy, Partying non-stop. My 2 older brothers took care of my boys. What Britney is doing is making up for lost time. Get off the poor girls case. Her fun times are just more noticed because of who she is!! Shes going to be ok!! PARTY ON BRIT!

The biggest problem for Britney is there is no treatment facility or rehab clinic that cures stupidity! That's what she really needs.

Britney needs to grow up and take responsibility for her actions. She has been acting like a spoiled brat and not placing her children first. She also needs therapy if she is suffering from depression. Stop blaming everyone around you for your troubles...you're the one who should accept responsibility. Her recent antics were deplorable and she should be ashamed of herself. Get some help and stop blaming your parents!!!

Personally, I don't give a darn about Britney, but to blame parents is childish. Isn't she supposed to be an adult and responsible for her own actions. If not, then someone, please, save her children from her!!

It's a shame she gets as much coverage as she does when there are far more invididuals suffering from circumstances beyond their control. Stories like this illustrates how Ms. Spears is a spoiled brat who lacks any moral values and who possesses little intelligence.

Britney is running around like she is invincible, guess what time catches up to u my husband was 36 years old and was out partying while i was taking care of the children, guess what he is dead. Britney is just giving K-Fed the keys to the kingdom and the children, she is a mother who should be responsible, and focus on them, blaming her parents wait til they die unexpectedly how is she going to feel then? Grow up take responsibilty for the children u brought into this world, Take a clue from BradGelina, High Class, Britney White Trash!

Regardless of your past, or where you seem to be now, the fact is that when you are a parent, you are responsible for raising another person. Partying excessively or reckless behavior is a terrible example to your children. Britney made her choices, stardom, marriage, children, and inappropriate public displays. She is responsible for her behavior and the consequences. Her public rants are degrading to the general public and the fact is she would be nowhere if the general public didn't buy her music and her image. So I say, get help and get over it! We all make mistakes, learn from them and don't make them again!

Britney's coming out of a very stressful time in her life and is just letting it all out. If this means she's acting out, then that's what she's doing. To blame this on her parents clearly isn't the right thing to do, but I can understand. She's pushing everyone away right now which she shouldn't be doing, but in time I think she'll grow up and see her mistakes. She had to "grow up" so fast because of her career that now she's going through the her childish stage. She's not doing things in a regulr order and that's what's getting to people.
