Americans Asked To Exercise Caution While Eating
A recent report published by the Center for Science in the Public Interest cites that some of the food items served in popular hotels are very high in calories. The centre which advocates nutrition says that American's 'eating out' has increased a lot which is leading to many health issues related to obesity.

Details regarding calories of the food and its nutritional information enable the consumer to make the right choices of food. As per the recommendations of the U.S Department of Agriculture, 1600-2800 calories are needed by a person per day depending on age and gender. The admissible quantity of fat is 53 to 93 grams.

Sue Moores, dietitian with the American Dietetic Association, says that a sensible choice of food from the menu at the hotel will help them stay healthy. The splitting of a large dish and packing some home will also aid in keeping the flab off.
