First Imported Dengue Fever Case Reported
The first imported Dengue Fever Case of this year has been confirmed. The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed this, involving 31-year old Tuen Mun woman, who traveled to Malaysia during 24 - 31 December 2006.

It is being reported that she came down with fever, headache, a rash, and muscle and joint pain on January 2. She was admitted to Tuen Mun Hospital on January 6 and is now in stable condition.

However, till now no such symptoms have been reported by her travel companions.
