On a weekend night over, ice has become an integral part of the cocktail of drugs consumed by addicts.

Few of the drugs used by people along with ice are marijuana, ketamine, heroin and other illicit drugs.

Ice is used by them to mask the effects of these drugs when they have report to work.

After excessive stimulation by drugs these people obtain a pleasurable sensation in my head, after which they usually smoke ice to get over it.

Paul Dillon member of the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre said, "A lot of people don't use it in a party context. There are many people who use it as a functional drug."

"Poly-drug users will often use ice at the beginning of the night, as a base.

"Then you've got your users, who also use the drug to function. Heroin knocks them out and ice lets them do the things they need to do."
