Need for Legal Rights to Birth Parents

One of the leading adoption institute in U.S. named Evan B. Donaldson adoption institute insists about the necessity of bringing out legal protection in favour of birth parents right now. It also ensures the pre adoption counseling for birth parents.

The institute has made the following suggestions as per the report given:

1. The prime suggestion is to ensure a pressure-free counseling for birth mothers to avoid enforced adoptions. This is to support the birth mothers not to be neglected and to be kept in track on the view of growth of their children in future.

2. It also analyses about the current status, which says that about 13000 to 14000 U.S. mothers are placing their children for adoption. It also tells that about 135000 adoptions each year comes from the foster care, next comes the overseas adoptions.

3. As per the report the institute suggests legal protection enforced by law in supporting the birth mothers by means of an agreement to ensure constant visiting, keeping in track for the well-being of their children in future and to ensure he psychological status of the mother as suggested by the mental health professionals.

4. It also tells about securing the rights of birth fathers.
