Importance of soy protein in your diet

Soy bean protein is a useful food because it is low in saturated fat and cholesterol. If one wants to reduce the total calories in your diet, doctors feel that it may be a good notion to replace soy for some common animal foods, like meat or dairy products.

Soy flour can be substituted for up to 30 per cent of the flour in baked goods.
