A new poll by Irishhealth.com has indicated the meager support for the increase in the number of private hospitals in the Irish Health Service. Only one among three individuals thought it would benefit healthcare.
The 40-bed Whitfield Clinic in Waterford and the 183-bed Beacon Hospital in Dublin are the recent private players in healthcare. Of the registered users who were queried, only 34% expressed optimism regarding the increase in the number of private hospitals, but 57% did not support their presence. 9% were not sure of what to say.Source-Medindia
