London: Obesity, now an infamous subject in Britain has a new companion. A recent report has shown that one in every 100 British women are combating eating disorders, either anorexia or bulimia.
To enable timely diagnosis, the government has instructed most of the general practitioners to be on alert regarding underweight women and ensure they are examined for symptoms of eating disorder. The rise in obesity and all the euphoria about fancy diets for the elusive 'hour glass' figure, has resulted in many young women getting anxious about food, resulting eating disorders.
