Delhi to have 36 New Hospitals Before 2010
In the run-up to the 2010 Commonwealth Games, the Delhi government has decided to construct 36 hospitals.

Some of the hospitals will offer cancer treatment facilities.

"Some of these hi-tech hospitals will be built in the Trans-yamuna area of Delhi," said a senior official at the chief minister's office.

"Initially the government had set aside Rs.150 million for the construction of the hospitals, but more funds will be made available," the official said.
