According to contactmusic.com, Partybuddys was founded by James King and Jason Roefaro, and ferries clients, mainly out-of-town businessmen, who are ready to pay hefty fees. The hosts help them get into VIP rooms and they are treated like celebrities.

Roefaro says that they treat clients like Paris Hilton or Diddy. He adds: "They also had their own velvet rope and red carpet they carried around with them."

Valderrama is seen regularly at the party circuit and will produce and possibly star in the project.

He says: "When I first heard about these guys, I knew their story would make an original comedy about fame and friendship."
