Delhi Police Quiz Suspects In Girl's Kidnapping
Seven suspects were being interrogated by Deli Police in connection with the abduction of a 17-year-old schoolgirl on Saturday. Two men in a car kidnapped a student of the Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya in Gandhi Nagar, but the girl escaped in Connaught Place on Friday.

"We have registered a case of kidnapping and have questioned seven suspects. But we are yet to arrest anyone," said Rameshwar Khatri, the station house officer of Gandhi Nagar in east Delhi.

"The girl had named one Amaan as the prime accused but she does not have any details of his residence or phone number. Our teams are searching several suspected locations in east and northeast Delhi," Khatri told IANS.

The girl told the police that two youths dragged her into their car while she was on her way to school at around 11 a.m. She added that they put something on her face after which she lost consciousness.

In a similar incident Aug 14, a 16-year-old girl was kidnapped at knifepoint and was allegedly raped by one of her acquaintances in Uttam Nagar, west Delhi.
