Spurious Drugs Seized In Allahabad
Police today, had seized a large quantity of spurious drugs and arrested one person in this connection for possession of drugs having fake labels of costly life-saving medicines.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team raided a drug store in Leader Road and seized the spurious medicines. The owner of the store was arrested, officials said.

The store owner confessed that the fake medicines, whose genuine versions would have been worth Rs 15 lakh, were being sold by him at less than half the market prices. They included drugs for treating snake bites and dog bites.
