Investigation Launched Into Death Of Elderly Woman

The death of a 65-year-old woman at the Heatherside Hospital is being investigated by the Gardai.

Ms Hannah Comber died from asphyxiation after she apparently became caught in the straps of her special chair. The HSE said, it is fully co-operating with the investigation and will launch its own into the incident at a continuing care facility in Cork. The HSE added that the hospital has a safe staff-to-patient ratio.
