Awareness Campaign For Heart Diseases
In order to give women a personal and urgent wake-up call about their risk for heart disease, the National Heart, Lung Blood Institute (NHLBI) in the USA, launched the Red Dress as the national symbol for women and heart disease to motivate women to protect their heart health.

The Red Dress Collection 2006 saw the conglomeration of several celebrity women in music and the also the most famous fashion houses on February 3rd at Olympus Fashion Week, to inaugurate the fourth collection of red dresses created for 'The Heart Truth'.

Simply wearing red or a Red Dress Pin on any day of the year in the US, shows one's support for women's heart disease awareness!
