Malaria Claims 47 Lives In Arunachal Pradesh
Malaria has so far claimed at least 47 lives in Arunachal Pradesh since April last with the state capital alone accounting for 27 deaths, official sources said.

While the General hospital here recorded 10 deaths, R K Mission hospital sources reported 17 deaths.

Three deaths were reported from Kimin and Doimukh adjoining the state capital, Zonal Malaria Officer of Kimin said.

In May, official sources had said that malaira had claimed 17 lives at Deomali and surrounding areas in Tirap district.
