AIIMS Doctors Seeks Ramadoss Intervention for Venugopal’s Removal

A group of senior doctors of AIIMS today met Union Health Minister Ambumani Ramadoss demanding removal of the hospital's Director P Venugopal , alleging he had instigated the institute's medicos to take part in the anti-reservation stir.

Besides seeking Venugopal's removal, the delegation, comprising senior medicos and resident doctors of the premier health institute, also demanded withdrawal of user charges levied on patients and reinstatement of suspended workers of the hospital.
