According to the doctors at Kozhikode Medical College Hospital, Kerala they removed a five-and-a-half inch-long scissors from a man’s stomach .
The man named Akkooppoyil Achuthan aged 65 was admitted in the hospital for the removal of a six Kg tumor.Then he was discharged but frequented the hospital complaining acute pain symptoms.
After an X-ray another doctor found the scissors in the stomach.
They team of doctors conducted another emergency surgery and successfully removed the scissors from his stomach.
The doctor who previously did the surgery was blamed to have inadvertently forgotten to remove the scissors after the procedure.
