Creating Awareness about Sports Medicine

As there is a severe shortage of Sport medicos the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) is planned to create awareness in that field.

They are going to organize a three-day intensive course program in sports medicine for doctors from the northeastern states. This is to equate the shortage of sports medicine specialists in the Northeast.

The course is being sponsored by the North Eastern Council. They have invited doctors from all over Sikkim.

The group that has taken the responsibility to conduct the course consists of 11 doctors who are specialist in this field. They are invited from across the country to preside over the program.
