Veteran television actor Mohan Bhandari died after a long battle with brain tumor. Bhandari died on Thursday evening, September 24, 2015. He was struggling with the illness for the last few years after suffering brain hemorrhage.

Bhandari appeared in several serials including Khaandaan on DD, 'Karz', 'Parampara', 'Jeevan Mrityu', 'Pathjhad', 'Gumraah' and 'Mile Sur Mera Tumhara'. He was also seen in the Bollywood blockbuster 'Mangal Pandey- The Rising' starring superstar Aamir Khan.

Bhandari's son Dhruv Bhandari had told the media few months ago about his father's illness.
