Couples should give each other time and space, and they must also explore new cities to know each others' interests better, according to experts, reports

Here are some quick tips to make your holiday memorable and fight free:

1. Give each other space - It's important to give each other some space no matter if it's your first holiday together. Read a book, lay down at the poolside and listen to the music or go for a short walk alone. If you haven't started experiencing living together yet, chances are more that you get into arguments. Don't force things on your partner.

2. Expect friction - It's completely normal to have disagreements, but don't let them ruin your holiday. Rather look for a solution. Remember, you're there to enjoy and understand each other better. So make the most of it.

3. Explore the local culture - Explore the new city, its local culture and cuisines. Doing this will give you a chance to indulge in a healthy conversation. Trying new things together will also bring you closer to each other and give you a sense of connection. It also helps knowing each others' likes and dislikes. Also carry a camera and take lots of pictures. You can cherish the memories later.

4. Don't try too hard - Go with the flow. Don't try too hard to make it a perfect holiday. Relax, just be yourself and see where the holiday takes you. You're both there to share some quality time with each other as well as having fun, so let that happen!

5. Never leave an argument unsolved - If you find yourself arguing often, then make sure that you get to the bottom of the problem. The worst thing you can do is leave the argument unsolved as it can create differences between you and your partner.
