Three Patients Gain New Ray of Hope Through Organ Donation
After Mandava Vamshi Krishna was declared brain dead, his parents came forward to donate his organs.
Mandava Vamshi Krishna who belongs to Jaggaiahpet was working as network administrator at Mandava Engineering College. He was critically ill with a brain disease and was undergoing treatment at Andhra Hospitals. His condition deteriorated and the doctors declared him brain dead.

The family of Vamshi showing came forward to donate his organs. His parents Venugopal Rao and Rajeswari gave their consent to donate all his useful organs through the Jeevandan Trust. The doctors immediately made arrangements for the organ transplantation and to transplant them on six people who were waiting for donors.

The heart was used by Apollo Hospitals for a 26-year-old patient and heart valves were given to Innova Children’s Heart Hospital. The liver was given to Yashoda Hospital and has been transplanted on a 42-year-old patient from Ludhiana.
