The researchers found that fish oil and aspirin can help in reducing swelling or inflammation which is the root cause of many illnesses like Alzheimer's, cancer, heart disease and arthritis.

According to the research, both fish oil and aspirin are famous for their anti-inflammatory properties as they can help control the overactive responses of the immune system, the root cause of long-term illnesses.

The researchers found resolvin, termed D3, present in aspirin and omega-3 fatty acid can help control the inflammation for a prolonged period which may be the secret to battling many chronic diseases.
