Teenager Wins £10,000 for Top Hat Toothbrush
A 19-year old won £10,000 in prize money after his top hat toothbrush was awarded the first prize in a wacky invention competition in London.
The unusual gadget has been developed by Sam Hunter Baxter who said that the idea came to him when he realized that people spend 75 days of their life brushing their teeth.

Sam developed the device and entered it in the Odd Invention challenge, where he saw off the challenge of more than 300 other entries, some of which included heels which can store house keys, a beard shaped razor and training shoes with rollers on the soles to act as mini-treadmills.

“One day, to while away the time when brushing my teeth I calculated that on average people spend 75 days of their life with a toothbrush in hand. The Odd Invention challenge gave me the chance to share my idea for a gadget to help us use that time more productively”, Sam said.
