Technology in a Toothbrush Eases Nerves of Worrying Mothers
It is almost as if we have technology in our mouths with this new discovery!
For all those mothers who constantly worry if their kids are maintaining good oral hygiene, a new toothbrush by Beam connects with an iPhone app to conduct a reality check on brushing.

A wireless connection actually follows the brushing process, timing the strokes and gives an evaluation of the daily progress. The technology also connects to the user’s dentist and reports the brushing habits.

“Today, the average person brushes their teeth for only 46 seconds, but is 50% more likely to brush their teeth for a full two minutes by using just a simple timer. Oral care is considered patient-centered, since oral health is impacted significantly by your daily hygiene habits. Data from the Beam Brush is designed to raise awareness for your oral care,” said the designers.
