Experts at the International Agency for Research on Cancer in Lyon, the cancer arm of the World Health Organization have said that tanning beds are definitely carcinogenic and promote cancer formation in consumers.
Earlier the organization had rated these sunbeds as probably carcinoigenic, but a review of 20 studies on the subject forced them to upgrade their warnings.
