 Swine Flu Death Toll in West Bengal Reaches 25
Swine flu has claimed 25 lives in West Bengal this year, while the total number of people who tested positive for the H1N1 virus rose to 469, revealed a top health official.
Malay Dey, Health Secretary, said, "A two-year-old girl, a resident of neighboring Howrah district, breathed her last at the B.C.Roy Memorial Hospital, where she was under treatment for 11 days. The girl's condition was critical and she was on ventilator support."

Eight peopled have been discharged from hospital over the past 24 hours after they recouped. Dey Said, "Presently 38 people are being treated for swine flu. Sixteen of them are admitted in government hospitals, and the remaining 22 in private health facilities."
