Super Specialty Dental Care Chain to Boost Oral Care in India
Clove, multi-specialty dental care chain from the house of Star Dental, announced aggressive business plans to launch 40 company owned clinics across India over the next one year. The company will make an investment of close to Rs 150 crores over a period of three years. The growth plan is supported by a healthy mix of organic and inorganic growth.
Clove has added new paradigm to oral care in India through its high-quality clinics that offer international hygiene and treatment standards through its germ free sterilization rooms, autoclaves and highly advanced pain managed procedures. The company will implement a network of clinics in a specific territory to provide holistic coverage of the region and a “network of such networks” will define the pan India coverage.

Speaking on this launch, Amarinder Pal Singh, CEO, Star Dental India said, “We have studied the oral care market in India closely and perceived a need gap for the highest level of strict adherence to internationally accepted hygiene standards. The India market has a huge potential and in a span of six months we have been able to get 10 state-of-the-art Clove dental clinics functional in Delhi & NCR and the eleventh centre has opened in Paschim Vihar today and our aim is to be present in every major city of India. We aim to have 300 such hi-quality, state-of-the-art Clove dental clinics across India by the end of 2017, setting new benchmarks in the oral care segment in India.”

The oral care industry in India is $1.8 billion and is pegged to grow at 6% per annum. Perceiving the need for international oral care, multi-specialty dental care chain from Star Dental, Clove was launched in India last year.
