A survey by the Consumer Reports National Research Center has found that a majority of Americans do not use sunscreen to protect themselves from the sun despite repeated recommendations to do so.
The survey of 1,000 adults found that 69% were only occasional users of sunscreen, while 31% of them used the sun lotion regularly. Skin experts say these attitudes are frustrating because Americans know exactly what is required to be done for sun protection.
