Special Program for Teens on Making Break-ups a Positive Experience
Boston’s Public health commission has teamed up with a college to host its third annual “Break-Up Summit” as part of a national endeavor to cut rates of teen dating violence.
During this summit, nearly 250 youths will give their opinion and interact on how to make break-ups a positive experience. More importantly, teens will be informed about setting up boundaries in relationships.

Titled ‘Start Strong’, the program targets teens in 11cities and educated them about ways to prevent dating violence and come out of relationships in a positive manner.

Nearly 10 percent of teenagers admit to have been victims of physical abuse by a boyfriend or girlfriend in the past year and this summit seeks to address these issues among teens.
