Solariums used by health practitioners for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures will not come under this ban. Even privately owned solariums for personal use is exempt.
'This ban on new equipment will accelerate the trend away from solaria as existing equipment fails or as licensees relocate,' Mr Springborg said.
