Soft Foam Surface on an Office Table can Enable Workers With a Power Nap
Daydreamer desk is a solution to the problems many tired workers face and who long for that precious power nap which can help them leap into many productive hours.
Twenty-seven year old designer, Nick DeMarco, designed the daydreamer desk keeping tired workers in mind. The day dreamer desk is an office table fitted with a soft foam surface, like a mattress, and a small wooden block to keep a notepad and a cup of coffee.

The designer felt that such a desk will inspire a more positive approach to work life and will help reduce stress.

Mr DeMarco said: 'It has not been designed to encourage employees to spend every moment at their desk, even during sleep. Instead, I hope to encourage a laid back casual attitude towards work and life.’

Research into the area of ‘thoughtful daydreaming’ has found that such an exercise improves productivity and ideation and the 'The Daydreamer Desk’ may be a step in the right direction.
