 Sleeping Beauty Syndrome Disrupts Normal Life of a Teenager
Nicole Delien, 17, from Pennsylvania, has missed many important occasions and family holidays in her life due to a rare sleep disorder, called as 'Sleeping Beauty Syndrome'.
Infact, during one of the episodes, she has slept for 64 days, the longest during her illness.

According to her mother, Nicole sleeps continuously for 17 to 18 hours in a day and when she dose get up to eat, she appears to be in a  sleep walking state. 

The syndrome termed as  Kleine Levin Syndrome, causes excessive sleeping, and victims can experience hallucinations, disorientation and binge eating behavior when awake.  

The cause of Kleine-Levin Syndrome remains unknown.
