Skinny Jeans Increase Health Risks in Men
While wearing skinny jeans could be the latest fashion trend and may make you look cool, it could be a risky habit for men after a new study found that such jeans could be causing a number of health problems around the groin area.
Researchers at TENA Men surveyed over 2,000 adult men in Britain and found that around 10 percent of men who wore skinny jeans complained of unpleasant adverse effect of wearing the clothing. Half of the men said that they experienced discomfort in the groin region while over 25 percent suffered from bladder problems and 20 percent had twisted testicles.

“Men who wear tight or ill-fitting trousers or underwear which is restrictive around the groin area could be damaging their health. Wearing tight-fitting clothing over a prolonged period of time can lead to urinary tract infections leading to over-activity of the bladder- a type of bladder weakness as well as a low sperm count and fungal infections”, TENA brand ambassador, Dr Hilary Jones said.
