Schumacher in His Wake-Up Phase

Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher is still in his wake-up phase according to his manager.

"Michael is still in the wake up phase. The situation has not changed," Kehm said in a statement.

Schumacher was put in induced coma in a Grenoble hospital after the 45-year-old severely injured his head in a skiing accident at the French resort of Meribel Dec 29. Doctors initiated the wake up phase Jan 30.

"Any medical information published which is not confirmed by the team of doctors treating Michael or his management has to be considered as not valid," added Kehm.
