Actress Lindsay Lohan has revealed that her latest stint in rehab has 'changed her life'.

The 'Mean Girls' star said that she had too much of pressure on her shoulders, and that she had to check into rehab to be 'happy'.

"It changed my life. I didn't have a good grip on it and I needed to get my s*** together. I was going out too much and I had too much pressure on my shoulders," the Sun quoted her, as saying.

"I was not that happy and I needed to go to that place to be happy," she added.

The 21-year-old also revealed that she has turned to prayer and meditation for busting stress.

" If I get stressed out I say a serenity prayer. I meditate too," she added.

Lohan added that she always carries around 'The Prince' written by Machiavelli, Italian political philosopher.

"I was going out with someone and they said I should read Machiavelli and I was like, 'nah', and then I was, 'OK, I'll read it' and now it is always with me," she added.

The actress checked into rehab for the second time earlier in June, after she was arrested for drunk driving.
