With increase in the number of seasonal diseases like malaria and dengue, the Rajasthan government has decided to cancel the leave of government doctors and has also constituted a task force to monitor the situation. A senior official said, "We do not want to take any chances. We have constituted task forces-one at the state level, other at the district-level and also at block level."
The officer further added, "The state-level task force will hold review meetings twice a week. Leave of doctors has been cancelled and they have been asked to report at their respective hospitals.
