Putting Everything at Stake to Look Like the Best Bride
She was 18st and gaining, Tsia Pullen, 34-year-old mother of one, was absolutely crestfallen with the way she looked.
She had to do something about it after her boyfriend, Alastair, proposed marriage. She wanted to look her best on the wedding day.

She did the unimaginable by spending a whopping £22,000 on a makeover and went in for a cosmetic surgery to have a dream body.

But she did what perhaps nobody would do, like selling her house to raise funds for her cosmetic surgery. The mum of one said: “I didn’t want Alastair to have to marry me looking like that. I wanted to be a beautiful bride.”

She took a bold step of putting her £80,000 home in Bolton, Greater Manchester, for sale and moving in with her boyfriend.

At first she underwent gastric band operation and then arm and thigh lifts. She also went in for breast uplifts, implants and liposuction. The cosmetic surgeries brought about a sea change in her looks.

Tsia added: “After every painful operation I kept telling myself that the end result would be worth it. When I started seeing the results, I could feel my confidence soaring. I felt like a brand new person and for the first time in my life I felt sexy.”

The couple tied the knot after living together for 10 years and even starting a family.

She said: “Alastair and I finally tied the knot on May 18 – our 10-year anniversary. I had my slim-fit wedding dress ready and waiting. I was so excited. I felt like a princess. I don’t regret selling my house for the surgery for one minute.”
