Prime Minister Narendra Modi, expressing concern over pregnancy related deaths and other complications, said that government hospitals and other facilities will provide free medical care to needy pregnant women in the country.
During his 'Mann Ki Baat' address to the nation, Modi called upon doctors across the country to join in the government's mission to provide free medical care once in a month to pregnant women in their areas.
‘Mann Ki Baat is an Indian radio programme hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in which he addresses the nation as an effort to reach the public.’
