Nobel Chemistry Prize Goes to US Pair Lefkowitz and Kobilka | |

The Nobel jury awarded the Nobel Chemistry Prize on Wednesday to US duo Robert Lefkowitz and Brian Kobilka for their groundbreaking work on how receptors of the body's cells respond to their environment.
"The studies by Lefkowitz and Kobilka are crucial for understanding how G-protein-coupled receptors function," the committee said.
