New Stomach Pacemaker Helps Reduce Appetite
A novel device which mimics the functions of a pacemaker has been developed for the stomach, in order to help reduce appetite.
This stomach pacemaker, currently undergoing trials in Europe, is just like a heart pacemaker and works by sending messages to the brain, to enable a feeling of satiation.

The device transmits electrical pulses to the brain once the person starts eating. The body then begins to feel full even though the food consumed is less.

According to an account from a participant in the study, the pacemaker helped reduce his appetite by 50%.

Only time will prove the worthiness of this device.
