New Spray may Help Overcome Marijuana Addiction in Future
People who are addicted to marijuana struggle to overcome their addiction as there is no substitute available that can ease the severe withdrawal symptoms.
Now researchers at New South Wales University are testing whether a spray can prove to be the answer for those who are trying to kick the habit.

Researchers from the National Cannabis Prevention and Information Centre at the university will be testing to check the effectiveness of a pharmaceutical drug known as Sativex in easing the withdrawal symptoms of those who are looking to overcome their addiction of marijuana.

The drug will be administered through a mouth spray and has already been approved in the UK, Spain and Canada for providing relief from symptoms among patients with multiple sclerosis. The clinical trial will be funded by National Health and Medical Research Council who are looking for volunteers to take part in the trial.
