 New Ebola Cases may Rise to 10,000 a Week in Two Months If Efforts Not Stepped-up
As the Ebola death toll tally climbed up to 4,447 cases, with majority of recorded in West Africa; the World Health Organization (WHO) warned that the number of new cases may rise up to 10,000 a week within two months if efforts to control the epidemic are not stepped-up.
WHO Assistant Director-General Bruce Aylward also added that the rate of new infections has slowed down in some areas, reported the BBC.

The UN agency said that the total number of Ebola cases, including fatal cases, have risen to 8,914 so far and is expected to climb to 9,000 by the end of the week.
