Researchers have developed a free app that can help shape your dreams and provide you with a pleasant and restful night of sleep, especially when there is a full moon.
The app, currently available for iPhone, works by monitoring your sleep patterns and playing carefully constructed sounds in order to ensure that you have pleasant dreams. University of Hertfordshire psychologist Professor Richard Wiseman conducted a dream control study by collecting millions of dream reports from volunteers who had downloaded the app over a period of two years.

"Having positive dreams helps people wake-up in a good mood, and boosts their productivity. We have now discovered a way of giving people sweet dreams, and this may also form the basis for a new type of therapy to help those suffering from certain psychological problems, such as depression", Prof Wiseman said.
