Nervousness Makes Lily Allen Drink!

British pop star Lily Allen has blamed her alcohol addiction to the nervousness and anxiety before a show. Allen said that the fear of doing a bad show makes her drink even more.

"I have been getting really drunk because I've been so nervous about doing bad shows," the Daily Mail quoted Allen, as telling New magazine.

"It's not good and that's why I want to get back into the studio. I've actually pulled myself aside and said it will kill me if I keep it up," she added.

Allen is well known for her shocking flare-ups and occasional wild conduct, but the pop singer proved she can create the magic during an angelic appearance at MTV's TRL programme in New York.

Looking elegant and decent, Allen played modest and smiled sweetly all through the show. And this behaviour might just be an indication of more positive things to come.

Allen has spoken in the past that she wants to have a more passive lifestyle, and hopes to control her extreme drinking.
