'Moolika Vana', a garden of medicinal plants in Uppinangady in Mangalore is said to have a plant for natural remedy for diabetes.
Kailaru Ganapathi Bhat, who owns the garden has decided to educate and encourage people to seek nature cure for diabetes."'Costus Ignaus' plant which has it's origins in South Africa has been found to be the best remedy for diabetes. A diabetes patient can ward off ill affects of diabetes by just consuming one or two leaves of this plant every day," Bhat said at a press conference.
