Myanmar Set to Join Forces With International NGOs In Child Care
Myanmar and ten other international non-government organizations will cooperate in childcare, furthering socio-economic status of persons with disabilities and attending to the elderly.
Under a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed with Myanmar's Social Welfare Department in Nay Phi Taw Monday, the 10 INGOs are Good Neighbor International, Terre des homes (TdH-Italia), Action Aid, Japan Heart, Caritas Thailand, Global Vision, Paln International, the Leprosy Mission International, Latte-Day Saint Charities and Marie Stopes International, said the New Light of Myanmar.

So far, Myanmar has signed MoUs with 13 INGOs to support those who are in need of social help as well as promoting more chances such as income, job, education and health.

The other three INGOs which signed earlier with Myanmar are Save the Children, World Vision and Help-Age International.
