Mothers on a Tip to Show Their Family is Perfect

Mothers on a Trip to Show Their Family is Perfect
It appears as if there is a competition going on among mothers to prove that theirs is a perfect family.
In the survey, it was found that mothers brag about their baby's early development in crawling, walking or talking, or the classroom achievements of older children.

What's more, others boast about losing pregnancy fat quickly, keeping their houses tidy or having a successful hubby.

"Mums put an awful lot of pressure on themselves to be the best at everything." The Telegraph quoted a spokesman for MumPoll.com, the market research site that carried out the study, as saying.

"It is impossible to have a perfect house, an attentive husband and make the greatest sponge cakes the town has ever seen all the time and yet ridiculously, mums everywhere are trying to do just that.

"It is hard enough to cope with the lack of sleep, getting the children dressed and keeping them entertained all day, without worrying about what the world and his wife are saying about you," he added.

The study of 3,000 mothers also showed that their competitive spirit emerges as soon as they give birth, with almost half reportedly "obsessed" by having the first baby in their peer group to crawl, walk and talk.
